Athletech News reported Oct. 30 that RockSalt Pilates had named Stephanie Knepp chief operating officer as the brand built its United States franchise footprint and prepared to enter the United Arab Emirates. Knepp brought more than two decades of experience across fitness, wellness, operations and franchising, and had most recently served as CEO of Sit Still Kids Salon.1

At RockSalt, she was set to oversee operational standards, franchisee support, training and studio openings. RockSalt had eight operating studios and four under construction, with five more planned for the first quarter of 2027.1

The brand also reported commitments from five multi-unit development groups for 33 additional studios over four years. The report said RockSalt began franchising in 2024 and described its format as a blend of Pilates, cardio, resistance training, weights and choreography.1
