The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Health & Fitness Industry Report 2026 was unveiled at the Ministry of Sports in Dubai on October 29. It drew insights from 122 gym and fitness operators across the UAE, with data collected between August 17 and September 30, 2026.1
The report found that 71.9% of surveyed non-gym members would consider joining or returning to a gym, while 65% of operators anticipated growth in the year ahead.1
Lack of time was the biggest exercise barrier for 38.4% of consumers.1
