FASTer Way adds Lumi AI guide to its fitness and nutrition app
FASTer Way launched Lumi, an AI guide in its fitness and nutrition app that uses member activity and food logs to suggest workouts and meals, track progress and simplify meal logging. The company positioned it as a complement to its coaches.

FASTer Way announced Lumi, an AI guide built into its redesigned fitness and nutrition app, on Oct. 28. The company said Lumi uses members’ logged meals, workouts, daily steps and water intake to suggest workouts, recommend meals and track progress in real time.1
Members can photograph a meal or describe it, after which the tool identifies foods, calculates or estimates macros and logs the meal, according to the release. The company said Lumi can also generate recipes and shopping lists based on members’ dietary preferences and macro targets.1
FASTer Way said Lumi works alongside its coaches, whom it described as providing accountability, encouragement and expertise. The launch illustrates a consumer fitness platform pairing automated logging and guidance with human coaching, a model relevant to trainers following how digital services divide those roles.1
