Findel acquires UK fitness supplier Gym Gear
Findel, part of Manutan Group, acquired UK fitness-equipment supplier Gym Gear on October 29. Gym Gear’s leadership and customer arrangements were set to continue, according to Manutan Group’s announcement.
Findel, a subsidiary of Manutan Group, announced on October 29 that it had acquired Gym Gear, a UK fitness-solutions provider. The announcement said Gym Gear supplies professional fitness equipment and installation services to education, leisure and public-sector customers across the UK.1
Gym Gear, based in Preston, Lancashire, supports organizations and institutions in designing and developing sports facilities. Manutan Group said the acquisition expands its sports-sector expertise alongside UK brand Davies Sports and France-based Casal Sport.1
The announcement said Gym Gear would continue to be led by Richard Lambert and David Bulcock. Gym Gear director Richard Lambert said customers would keep working with the same team and retain access to the company’s product range and service standards.1
