BILD and SPORT BILD to broadcast HYROX Elite Series live, Axel Springer SE says

Parent company Axel Springer SE said BILD and SPORT BILD will broadcast the HYROX Elite Series live in partnership with the Hamburg-based company founded by Olympic field hockey gold medalist Moritz Fürste and sports event manager Christian Toetzke. The season kicks off in Hamburg on October 30 with singles races and October 31 with doubles races, 2026, according to Axel Springer SE.1

Starting at 6:30 PM each day, the competitions can be watched live on BILD.de and SPORTBILD.de with German-language commentary, Axel Springer SE said.1

The Elite Series continues in London on December 3–4, 2026, Bangkok on February 11–12, 2027, Las Vegas on March 12–13, 2027, and Lyon on May 13–14, 2027, according to Axel Springer SE. The top three finishers from each Elite race will advance to the HYROX World Championships in Hong Kong in June 2027, the company said.1

The 15 best women and 15 best men in the HYROX world compete against one another across five major events each season, Axel Springer SE said. A points system determines which athletes qualify for the Elite Series, according to the company.1

Participants complete the classic HYROX race format, consisting of eight kilometers of running interspersed with eight fitness stations such as burpee broad jumps, rowing, and wall balls, Axel Springer SE said.1
