PureGym sought approval for two 24-hour Dublin gyms
PureGym lodged applications for two 24-hour Dublin gyms, at Parnell Centre and College Square, and said it hoped to open them in the first half of 2027. Both sites remained subject to planning approval.

PureGym lodged planning applications for two 24-hour, no-frills gyms in Dublin city centre. One proposed site was at Parnell Centre in Dublin 1, while the other was in the College Square development on Tara Street in Dublin 2.1
Both projects remained subject to planning approval, and Dublin City Council had yet to decide on the College Square application. PureGym said the plans were at an early stage and that it hoped to open both gyms in the first half of 2027.1
The company said the gyms would expand access to affordable fitness and create employment opportunities. For Dublin trainers and gym operators, the proposals pointed to a possible new low-cost competitor and additional fitness-sector jobs, though neither opening was assured.1
